At Garden House

Last week I ran a watercolour workshop at Bridgette and Deborah's beautiful garden in Warleigh Road Brighton. We had glorious sunshine, and the students spent most of their time painting in the marvellous floribundous borders. It was called 'Towards Abstraction' because although I'm no abstract painter I'm trying to encourage the students to get away from being too literal and become more expressive in their approach to what they're seeing.
